about me
As a singer and songwriter, I specialise in emotional ballads which are inspired by personal events and storytelling to achieve truly raw and emotive lyrics. My overall musical identity blends powerful vocals with instrumentation, stemming from the themes of love, heartbreak, healing and self empowerment.
My journey with music developed from writing music as a way to process personal experiences which inevitably shaped my music as they heavily influenced by real life relationships and low periods of my life. To me, music reflects my vulnerability and authenticity, allowing me to present the most true self to my audience.
Throughout my life, I have been inspired by multiple ballad artists in order to combine modern pop-ballad elements with classic soulful tones. Whitney Houston and Elvis Presley have been my main inspirations since I have been young, discovering them from family members to learn their life through emotive storytelling. They mainly inspired my use of vocals and lyrics that listeners will be able to relate or sympathise with.
My vision with music is to create and publish songs that make people feel understood and seen. I do this mainly through my raw lyrics as listeners can connect their own experiences to each song, allowing a deeper relation between me and my listeners.
My image follows natural and authentic representations rather than perfection to present a sense of reality to my listeners.
